I was unaware of the many hurdles that it takes to reach the U.S. In particular, I had not realized that there were necessary stops to earn money.
This makes me so sad. How the .... are people supposed to live like this. I feel like it's not something we talk about a lot, but even which country you are a citizen of is a such important type of privilege.
