Spanish Videos, OPTIMISTIC SHOWS, and Don't Watch the News.
Hi there,
Lots of homework, midterms, classes, and research work so I’ll keep it short, and share only three GREAT curiosities.
This week, I talked to Ishita, a high school student from Singapore, who is a great supporter of the newsletter. We talked about college plans, AI, and YouTube. She also encouraged me to make videos in Spanish.
So if you’re learning Spanish or want to practice, check out my Spanish playlist.
Curiosities 🎥👺🌳
1. YouTube Videos on Spanish
I’ll be starting to make more videos in Spanish.
Here’s the first one in 2021.
2. We Need More Encouraging Futuristic Shows!
A few weeks ago, I watched two episodes of Black Mirror. What a nightmare🤮!
Sure, the future they portray could possible but they’re making us scared about even building that future.
The “warning” is BS. We should create inspiring shows to make us excited about the future.
What they show isn’t necessarily fake. It could be true. But the damage they’re causing is (scaring us) far greater than if their outcomes became true.
We need people (especially the youth) to be excited about the future and make the world better.
A friend brought up a great Star Trek counterpoint.
3. Don’t Watch The News
I’ve been having a back and forth conversation with a high school friend about the news. Before I share with you guys my argument, I’d recommend watching/listening to the following:
Find meaning in the void, laughter in the boring, and fulfillment in the banal.
I’ll talk to you next week!
Until Next Sunday at 7:03 AM,
